Professional journey:

Emelie brings a diverse professional background, spanning industries like FMCG, sporting goods, fashion & beauty, and currently, the automotive business at Volvo Cars. Her daily responsibilities involve enhancing the value and quality of cars over time. She has had several different executive roles and she also has a background in sports – as an elite athlete in cross-country skiing.

Why Our Normal?

Emelie’s path led her to Our Normal due to a shared passion for business development and a strong commitment to inclusion. Both Emelie and Our Normal’s founder, Jenny, are parents of children with disabilities, forging a deep connection rooted in shared experiences.

The vision of true inclusion:

Emelie believes in the power of true inclusion, not just for individual children or families but as a catalyst for a better society. Inclusion, to her, is not only a matter of humanity but also a driver of innovation and business development.
